Recently, we spent three weeks traveling in India throughout the southern state of Tamil Nadu which is known as the “Land of Temples.” There are more than 30,000 temples in Tamil Nadu but we only visited and offered prayers and devotions at about 25 of them. Tamil Nadu is rife with Vastu architecture, Vedic scholarship, Bharata-Natyam classical dance, mystical Carnatic music and other forms of classical Vedic culture.
